M V Magnier, already busy at the Goffs Orby Sale and Book 1 of this sale last week, was at it again on the opening day of Tattersalls' October Yearling Sale Book 2, going to 275,000gns to secure the session topper, a son of Coolmore stallion High Chaparral (Ire), from the draft of Ireland's Castlemartin Stud. The bay's dam, Middle Persia, is a half-sister to champion and Group 1-winner Nayarra (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}), as well as Group 3 winner Wonderfully (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), and this year's G1 St. James's Palace S. third Mars (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). The colt's third dam is Rafha, dam of Invincible Spirit (Ire) and Kodiac (GB), as well as group winners Sadian (GB) and Acts ofᅠGrace.ᅠ
