Honest Pursuit, a four-year-old daughter of Storm Cat from Grade I winner Honest Lady (Seattle Slew), was knocked down to the Wertheimer Brothers for $3.1 million to top the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington. Consigned by Eaton Sales, as agent for the complete dispersal of the Young family's Overbrook Farm, Honest Pursuit–a half-sister to GISW First Defence from the family of Empire Maker and Chester House–was offered as a racing or broodmare prospect, though she has not faced the starter since finishing third in Keeneland allowance company in October 2008.
