Andre Fabre has a strong hand in Wednesday's G3 Prix de Ris-Orangis at Maisons-Laffitte, with the unbeaten Rosa Imperial (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}) joined by the G3 Prix Imprudence scorer Via Ravenna (Ire) (Raven's Pass). The latter, who represents Haras de Saint Pair, was impressive when taking that seven-furlong contest here Apr. 10 before finishing seventh in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Deauville May 13, while Rosa Imperial took the five-furlong Listed Prix Hampton at this track June 10. Godolphin's Lisa-Jane Graffard said of the latter, “Rosa Imperial has taken both her races very well. She is stepping up in class again, but is showing all the right signs that she can run a good race at this level.” The 2015 G3 Prix la Rochette and 2016 G3 Prix du Palais-Royal winner Attendu (Fr) (Acclamation {GB}) drops back in trip following a latest second in this venue's G3 Prix du Palais-Royal over seven June 3.
