Hal and Patti Earnhardt's Indian Blessing (f, 3, Indian Charlie) was scratched from Saturday's 1 1/16-mile GI Ruffian H., and, with an eye on the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Santa Anita Oct. 24, trainer Bob Baffert says the reigning champion two-year-old filly could make her next start in the six-furlong $400,000 Presque Isle Masters in northeast Pennsylvania. “I don't want to gut her out, I want to keep her fresh for the Breeders' Cup Sprint,” Baffert told Daily Racing Form. “Right now, I'd say I'm leaning toward Presque Isle Downs; three-quarters, that's her game right now, I'm not going to change it up. Maybe next year, we'll stretch her out.”
