A colt by Indian Charlie, who turned two on the calendar exactly three weeks ago, was hammered down to EQB's Patti Miller, on behalf of an unnamed client, for $600,000 to lead Tuesday's second day of activity at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. The bay, produced by a half-sister to Grade II winner Yarrow Brae (Deputy Minister), cost Sequel Bloodstock's Becky Thomas just $95,000 when purchased at last year's Keeneland September sale. Two years ago, a then 2-year-old full brother made $725,000 at FTFFEB after bringing $200,000 as a KEESEP yearling.
