Inglis has released its sale dates for 2018, with alterations to some of its key fixtures. Its flagship Easter Yearling Sale, traditionally staged Tuesday through Thursday, will next year be held Sunday through Tuesday Apr. 8 to 10, immediately following day one of The Championships. This will allow Wednesday to be an inspection day for horses in Session II of the Chairman's Sale, which will take place on Thursday Apr. 12. The Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale will kick off on Apr. 13, break a day for day two of The Championships, and continue on Apr. 15 and 16.
The Classic yearling sale, which will be the first sale held at Inglis's new Riverside Stables complex Feb. 10 to 13, will expand to four days and will be comprised of two books, Book 1 including about 600 yearlings and Book 2 about 200.
