The Irish National Stud has launched its latest Mare Syndicate, allowing investors to breed, own and sell premium bloodstock through the purchase of four mares at capped costs. INS Mare Syndicate shareholders have sold foals and yearlings for €330,000 and €120,000 within the last 12 months, and have foals by the likes of Night Of Thunder (Ire), Exceed and Excel (Aus), Expert Eye (GB), Zoustar (Aus) and Starspangledbanner (Aus) headed to the sales in the coming weeks.

The Irish National Stud's Patrick Diamond said, “we have received a great reaction to our Mare Syndicate venture since our 2018 launch and are looking to build on our early success. Given the current climate we feel reducing the risk of bloodstock ownership through a portfolio of four mares has never made more sense. We look forward to purchasing some exciting young mares and finding some value over the coming weeks.”
