Karl and Cathi Glassman's Apostle (Medaglia d'Oro) will make his long awaited debut after selling for $900,000 at this year's OBS March after breezing a furlong in :10 2/5.
This bay comes from a family of stakes winners. He is a half to Carve (First Samurai), GSW & GISP, $1,032085; Sloane Avenue (Candy Ride {Arg}). GSP-UAE & SW-Eng, $288,979; and Apropos (First Samurai), GISP, $253,630. His second dam, Liable (Seeking the Gold) produced 2010 Champion Older Horse and Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame (Arch), who banked over $4.3 million in 13 starts, while his stakes-winning third dam, Bound (Nijinsky II), produced world traveler Archipenko (Kingmambo), who won graded stakes in Ireland, UAE and Hong Kong.
His main threat Saturday will be Navistar (Union Rags&log=">Union Rags), who also sold for $900,000 at the OBS March sale. Navistar finished second in his unveiling behind 'TDN Rising Star' Mask (Tapit) at Belmont Park Oct. 20.

'TDN Rising Star' PRINCIPE GUILHERME (TAPIT) returns to action Saturday after a dominating 6 1/4-length graduation Nov. 10 at Churchill Downs.
The $600,000 Fasig-Tipton November purchase, is the first foal out of Aubby K (Street Sense), who took home the 2013 GI Human Distaff S. and was purchased for $2.4 million by Summer Wind Farm at that same sale. She is also a half to MGSP Flying Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus) and GSP Mythical Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus). Principe Guilherme's second dam, Lilly Capote (Capote), and third dam, London Lil (London Company), were both GIII stakes winners.
Breaking from the outside will be another high-priced Tapit colt Dark Templar (Tapit) . The chestnut was purchased for $475,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale and passed the test at first asking on Nov. 4 under the Twin Spires.
