Breeze Easy's SMART RESPONSE (Smart Strike) makes her debut here for trainer Joe Sharp. Chris Brothers of Xavier Bloodstock signed the ticket at $525,000 to acquire the filly from the Hartley/DeRenzo consignment at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale after she worked a furlong in :10 flat last May. Breeze Easy and Sharp also have Devine Mischief (Into Mischief), a $450,000 Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream juvenile, on the also-eligible list. Tom Proctor saddles Glen Hill Farm's Aspening (Candy Ride (Arg)&log=">Candy Ride {Arg}) for her second outing after finishing third over this course and trip Dec. 31.
