Insights on the American Racing Scene for Dec. 3

DREAM PAULINE (Tapit&log=">Tapit) headlines a field full of debutantes sprinting on the main track Sunday at Aqueduct. The Stonestreet homebred is out of MGISW Dream Rush (Wild Rush), who took home the 2007 GI Prioress S. and the GI Test S. in her 3-year-old campaign before selling for $3.3 million at that year's Fasig-Tipton November sale. Dream Pauline is a half to Dreaming of Julia (A.P. Indy), GISW, $874,500, who won the GI Frizette S. as a juvenile before scoring in the GII Gulfstream Park Oaks the following year; and MSW and young sire Atreides (Medaglia d'Oro). Another interesting firster is Warrior of Light (Warrior's Reward), who will break the furthest outside in the field of six. She is out of MSW & GISP By The Light (Malibu Moon) and is a half to By the Moon (Indian Charlie), a MGISW who captured the GI Ballerina S. this year at Saratoga. Soar From Shadows (Bernardini) is a granddaughter of champion turf mare Soaring Softly (Kris S.), whose son Manitoulin (Awesome Again) recently annexed Del Mar's GII Hollywood Turf Cup. Todd Pletcher-trained Mo Wine (Uncle Mo), a $135K KEESEP pick-up, is out of Panamanian champion Amor de Palacio (Cashel Castle), while Chad Summers pupil Our Hope Diamond (Gemologist) is a half to Grade II winner Inside Straight (Super Saver).
