The maternal grandson of champion Heavenly Prize (Seeking the Gold) turned in a promising debut effort at Del Mar Sept. 2, ovecoming a wide trip before sticking on well to be second, beaten a half-length, behind American Pharoah's full-brother St. Patrick's Day (Pioneerof the Nile). Bloodstock agent Kerri Radcliffe recently did her part to fuel the Keeneland Septembe sale and earlier this year was an active participant in the juvenile market on behalf of Phoenix Thoroughbreds. Mourinho (Super Saver) fetched just $30K as a KEESEP yearling last fall, but blossomed over the winter and worked a quarter mile in :20 1/5 before hammering for $625K.
