Albaugh Family Stable's REEDINI (Bernardini) headlines this maiden heat filled with a number of intriguing pedigrees. The $350,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase is a half-brother to 2007 champion sprinter and two-time Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Midnight Lute (Real Quiet), as well as MGSP Captain Cherokee (Sir Cherokee) and GSP Socialbug (Curlin). Conditioned by Dale Romans, the dark bay has drilled steadily over the local strip dating back to mid-May and recently completed his preparations for this career unveiling with a bullet five-furlong breeze in 1:00 flat June 18. Willis D. Horton's Blame Will (Blame">Blame), a $600,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga purchase, also makes his debut here. The bay is a half to SW & MGSP Cat Burglar (Unbridled's Song) and hails from the close family of MGSW and 2008 GI Kentucky Derby runner-up Eight Belles (Unbridled's Song). TJCIS PPs
