Conquest Stables' Conquest Enforcer, last seen finishing a game third as the favorite versus his elders in the GII Play the King S. over the Woodbine turf Aug. 20, was back with his friends in Sunday's Allied Forces S. and took care of business for a fairly comfortable victory. The Ontario-bred, winner of last year's Cup and Saucer S., defeated restricted company in the May 21 Queenston S. over the Woodbine Tapeta ahead of a front-running success in the age-restricted Charlie Barley S. July 3. Heavily favored here, Conquest Enforcer stalked the pace of Too Discreet three wide through an opening quarter in :23 flat. Sent up to quicken the pace nearing the entrance to the stretch, the Mark Casse trainee descended on Too Discreet and covered his final two furlongs in a slick :21.63 en route to a cozy victory. “He came to us not that long ago–the team in Canada does an amazing job,” said Randi Melton, assistant to winning trainer Mark Casse. “We just had to saddle him, he was ready. It set up perfect and Javier [Castellano] rode him perfect. Mark said he's not crazy about the whip, Javier just showed it to him and that was all he needed, he just took off and came home beautifully.” The winner will be part of the Conquest Dispersal at this year's Keeneland November sale. Conquest Enforcer is also a half to undefeated Nandi S. heroine Conquest Vivi (Court Vision), a yearling filly by Successful Appeal and a colt of 2016 by First Samurai.
