A son of Invincible Spirit (lot 185) lit up the board late in the session at Arqana Sunday when selling for €1.4 million to Bertrand le Metayer on behalf of Al Shahania Stud. Le Metayer had to see off a determined challenge from Tony Nerses to secure the grandson of G1 Prix Saint-Alary victress Vadawina (Ire) (Unfuwain), who was consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux.
