A pair of offerings by Invincible Spirit (Ire), including a Meadowview Stables-consigned colt out of Mangaree Mary (Seeking the Gold), led the way during Friday's Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale in Newmarket. A May 9 foal, the bay colt is a full brother to Stevie Gee (Ire), winner of the Listed Ripon Champion 2YO Trophy as a juvenile. Hip 73a was purchased for 48,000 euros as a yearling out of the 2009 Goffs Millions Sale in Ireland. Richard O'Gorman saw off fellow agents Andrew Tinkler and David Redvers to sign the winning ticket.
