David Redvers fended off Peter and Ross Doyle to land Victrix Ludorum (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) for 220,000gnsﾠto topﾠthe opening session of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses-in-Training Sale today. Winnerﾠofﾠboth Tattersalls Millions sales races for juvenile fillies last year, Victrix Ludorum placed in a pair of listed races in June. Redvers noted that she was being purchased as a broodmare prospect, but that a decision had not been made as to who she would be bred to next year.
