Irridescence To Empire Maker

The world-travelling MG1SW Irridescence (SAf) (Caesour–Meretricious {SAf}, by Dancing Champ) has been retired and will go to Empire Maker in 2008. The six-year-old mare raced on four continents and six different countries, winning the G1 South African Classic and G1 Woolavington S. in her native land and the G1 Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong. A stakes winner in the UAE, the dark bay mare was also second in the G1 Falmouth S. in England and ended her career with a runner-up finish in the GI Beverly D. S. at Arlington Park. Irridescence was bred by Mr. and Mrs. H. Winterbach and raced by Team Valor and Green Lantern Stables; Richard MassonĂs Green Lantern Stables bought out Team Valor at the conclusion of her racing career.
