GI Preakness S. hero Shackleford (Forestry) is confirmed for the GI Belmont S. after working five furlongs in 1:00.30 at Belmont Saturday morning. ìAs long as he comes out of the work good he will run,î trainer Dale Romans said after talking with co-owner Michael Lauffer. ìI am excited he's doing so well and coming into the race the right way. I think he's going to be very competitive.î
