Jess Jackso?s Stonestreet Stables and George Bolton have purchased Padua Stable?s interest in the GI Breeder? Cup Classic winner Curlin (Smart Strike). In a deal announced by Jackso?s attorney Richard Getty, the pair now own an 80-percent share in the three-year-old. The remaining 20 percent is the disputed share of Midnight Cry Stables, whose principals Shirley Cunningham Jr. and William Gallion remain in a Kentucky jail awaiting a criminal trial on charges lodged against them involving the Phen-Fen diet drug lawsuit.
