Jockeys and Jeans Officials on Hand at KEESEP

Barry Pearl, the president of the Jockeys and Jeans Fundraising Committee, and Eddie Donnally, the vice president of marketing for the organization, will be on hand during the Keeneland September sale Sept. 12 through Sept. 16 to thank donors who helped to raise better than $130,000 during this year's event benefitting the Permanently Disabled Jockeys' Fund held at Parx Racing June 3.

The 2016 Jockeys and Jeans attracted 14 Hall of Fame jockey and other famous riders along with Academy Award-winning actor Robert Duvall, former professional golfer and Hall of Famer Ray Floyd and Will Farish, owner of Lane's End Farm and one-time ambassador to England. Lane's End was one of a number of stallion owners who contributed seasons to help raise the funds. This winter, the Committee also hopes to raise money through an online sale of seasons with select seasons offered at a special event.
