Doug Cauthen, doing his bidding on behalf of Aaron and Marie Jones, saw off all would-be suitors to sign the ticket on MGISP Bonnie Blue Flag (f, 4, Mineshaft–Tap Your Feet, by Dixieland Band) at $1.5 million to show the way as the Fasig-Tipton November sale rolled on Sunday evening in Lexington. Bonnie Blue Flag, a $300,000 FTSAUG yearling acquisition by John Fort for his Peachtree Stable operation, was a stakes winner and placed in the GI Prioress S. and GI Test S. while trained by Bob Baffert. She banked just shy of $260,000. The half-sister to MGISW Diamondrella (GB) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) was sold in foal to Medaglia d'Oro on a March cover date.
