Kamsin To Haras d'Etreham

Kamsin (Ger) (Samum {Ger}–Kapitol {Ger}, by Winged Love {Ire}), the winner of three Group 1s including the G1 Deutsches Derby, will relocate to Haras d'Etreham in France in 2017 after the farm bought shares in the stallion, according to Racing Post. Kamsin, whose 41 foals from three crops of racing age has produced two stakes winners, previously stood at Gestut Ohlerweiherhof. He is owned in partnership with his breeder Gestut Karlshof.

Nicolas de Chambure of Haras d'Etreham told Racing Post, “We think that Kamsin has a bright future as a jump stallion. He has the attributes we are searching for as regards pedigree, race performances and physique. His first two crops have been very promising; his progeny have a lot of stamina with a real turn of foot. We are delighted to offer him to French breeders in 2017.”
