Kendargent To Stand For €22,000

Leading French sire Kendargent (Fr) will stand for €22,000 at Haras de Colleville in 2017. Kendargent started at a fee as low as €500 but quickly gained acclaim by turning out excellent numbers with his early small crops, and he gets a fee raise next year after standing for €18,000 the last two seasons. Kendargent enjoyed another successful season on the track, his representatives including G1 King's Stand S. third Goken (Fr) and G3 Prix de la Porte Maillot winner Jimmy Two Times (Fr). In the sales ring, a Kendargent filly who is a full-sister to multiple group winner and Group 1-placed Restigargent realised 525,000gns at Tattersalls October. Colleville owner Guy Pariente explained, “We are dedicated to making Kendargent a truly international stallion and have come up with some very interesting offers for our foreign clients which we look forward to discussing with them.”

Colleville will also stand stakes winner Galiway (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) for €3,000, and Goken at Haras de la Huderie for €5,000.
