'TDN Rising Star' and 2016 GI Kentucky Oaks heroine Cathryn Sophia (Street Boss) (Hip 113) brought $1.4 million as a racing/broodmare prospect on the bid of Tom Ryan of SF Bloodstock during the Fasig-Tipton November Sale Monday evening. Bred by Robert T. Manfuso in Maryland and consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent IV, the bay also captured the GII Forward Gal S. and GII Fasig-Tipton Davona Dale S. Originally a $30,000 purchase out of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic September Sale in 2014, she was third in an additional three Grade I contests, including the GI Cotillion S. behind fellow 'Rising Star' Songbird (Medaglia d'Oro) this summer.
