Group 1 winner La Montagna (Aus) (Monashee Mountain), in foal to Haradasun (Aus), topped Wednesday's second session of the Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale with a final bid of A$475,000. The seven-year-old mare was purchased by Nathan Tinkler's Patinack Farm from the consignment of the Millennial Partnership. During the first two sessions of the three-day auction, 282 horses have sold for A$14,546,500. The average is A$51,583 and the median is A$22,000. The clearance rate is 75 percent.
