Lady Horseowner (Aus) (Equiano {Fr}), a homebred for Paul and Carol King, will be a late entrant to the Feb. 24 1200-metre A$1.5-million G1 Ladbrokes Blue Diamond S. after the Kings pay a A$55,000 late entry fee on Monday, Racing.com reported. Trainer Greg Eurell confirmed the news.

“Everything's good, she's a very straightforward filly,” Eurell told Racing.com on Sunday. “She just had a quiet week after that win in the [Blue Diamond] Preview. That was a good opportunity to just let her do what she does. Everything's gone smoothly–we haven't had one single problem with her.”

Lady Horseowner kicked off her career with a victory in a 1000-metre maiden at Moonee Valley on Dec. 8, and followed up with another score, trying group company for the first time, in the 1000m G3 Blue Diamond Preview (fillies' division) on Jan. 27. Rider Nikita Beriman will continue her association with the bay, the third filly sporting an undefeated record in the Blue Diamond, alongside G2 Blue Diamond Prelude (fillies' division) heroine Enbihaar (Aus) (Magnus {Aus}) and Kinky Boom (Aus) (Spirit of Boom {Aus}), a winner of the Inglis Premier on Feb. 3.
