Twelve months on from the success of Hawksmoor (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}) in the G2 German 1000 Guineas, Hugo Palmer is back at Dusseldorf on Sunday with another live contender in Unforgetable Filly (GB) (Sepoy {Aus}). Second in the G3 Nell Gwyn S. at Newmarket on Apr. 19 and sixth in the G1 1000 Guineas back there on May 7, Dr Ali Ridha's bay enjoyed a confidence-boosting win in the Listed Maggie Dickson S. over seven furlongs at Musselburgh on June 3. Heading the home defence is Australian Bloodstock Stable's Delectation (GB) (Delegator {GB}), who lost her unbeaten tag when 16th of 18 in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Deauville on May 13. Previously, the British import–who captured the six-furlong G3 Firth of Clyde S. at Ayr in September for the Bryan Smart stable– had taken the G3 Schwarzgold-Rennen at Cologne over this trip on Apr. 17, and if she can bounce back will be supported to provide Andreas Wohler with a fifth renewal. Also from Britain is Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum's Listed Radley S. scorer Cristal Fizz (Ire) (Power {GB}), who fared much better than Delectation when eighth in the Pouliches. Dr Christoph Berglar's Peace In Motion (Hat Trick {Jpn}) dead-heated with Hargeisa (Speightstown) for third in the Schwarzgold-Rennen before finishing eighth in the G1 Prix Saint-Alary at Deauville on May 14 and warrants respect.
