Rob Whiteley's Liberation Farm and Audrey and Richard Haisfield's Stonewall Farm combined forces to purchase the then 15-year-old mare Swift and Classy (Clever Trick) for just $75,000 at the 2006 Keeneland November sale carrying a foal by El Prado (Ire). The team hit the proverbial home run Tuesday when the resulting foal, a colt by the Adena stallion, was hammered down for $1 million to the bid of Legends Racing. The new operation of trainers Wayne Lukas, Bob Baffert and Nick Zito were back at work just six lots down the line, acquiring a colt by Mr. Greeley–Tempest Dancer (Storm Cat), again for $1 million.
