Legends Racing, the new partnership which encompasses the expertise and experience of trainers D. Wayne Lukas, Bob Baffert and Nick Zito, were front and center during the middle stages of Tuesday's session at Keeneland. In the span of 40 horses, the team signed the tickets on five fashionably bred colts, each for a seven-figure pricetag. In addtion to hips 317 and 323, they were also successful on hip 331, a colt by Storm Cat–Turko's Turn (Turkoman), who is a half-brother to Horse of the Year Point Given (Thunder Gulch). The chestnut was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency. Legends also won a bidding war for hip 355, going to $1.15 million for a Taylor Made-consigned colt by Unbridled's Song–Zing (Storm Cat), a full brother to GSW Half Ours.
