Little Red Feather Racing has purchased a minority interest in UpHill Stable and Head of Plains' MGSW Lightstream (Harlan's Holiday).
“When we saw Lightstream win the [GII] Raven Run [S.], I knew we had to find a way to buy-in,” said LRF Founder and Managing Partner Billy Koch. “This is an exciting horse with a world of potential and we look forward to a great co-ownership.”
Following a debut win at Gulfstream in March with a victory in the GIII Adena Springs Beaumont S. Apr. 17, Lightstream captured the grassy Soaring Softly S. at Belmont May 21. Third in the GI Mother Goose S. July 2, the Brian Lynch pupil was runner-up in the GI Test S. at Saratoga Aug. 6 and returned to winning ways in the Raven Run Oct. 22.
The sophomore will make her next start in the GI La Brea S. Dec. 26.
