Charlotte Weber's Live Oak Plantation saw off all challengers to land a striking daughter of Medaglia d'Oro for $1.3 million to top the action at Wednesday's Keeneland September Sale. Cataloged as hip 570 from the draft of Francis and Barbara Vanlangendonck's Summerfield, the filly was produced by the 14-year-old Unreal Zeal mare Beaties for Real and is thus a half-sister to GSW Friel's For Real, GSW Ryan's For Real, and SW Little Thunder, all by Sword Dance (Ire). The filly was bred in Florida by Gilbert Campbell.
