+PARLOR (c, 2, Lonhro {Aus}–My McIntosh, by Pulpit) overcame a very poor break to blow away a field of maidens on the Ellis Park turf at first asking. Coming into this debut off a strong series of works, most notably breezing a bullet half-mile July 20 at Churchill in :48 flat, the 6-1 shot was pinched back badly from the rail at the start. Moving up a couple spots onto the backstretch, the dark bay saved ground on the far turn, sharply angled into the four path at the top of the lane and inhaled pacesetter Artful Vision (Munnings) in just a few strides, pulling away to an impressive 2 1/2-length success over that rival. The winner has a yearling half-brother by Point of Entry. Sales History: $60,000 Ylg '15 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $22,800. O-Anderson Thoroughbreds; B-KatieRich Farms (KY); T-Eddie Kenneally.
