Juvenile champion Lookin At Lucky (Smart Strike) has been confirmed for Saturday's GI Preakness S. and will be ridden by Martin Garcia. Garcia replaces Garrett Gomez, who will ride Dublin (Afleet Alex) in the race. The colt's status for the Preakness had been undecided, but trainer Bob Baffert said yesterday the colt will run barring any unforseen circumstances. “I'm planning on it unless I see something between now and getting on the plane,” Baffert said. “I've been watching him, looking for any little sign of not wanting to come. He's been training well here, he's moving well and is his old self. He deserves another chance at it.” Lookin At Lucky, who will not have a work between the Derby and Preakness, is expected to ship to Pimlico Wednesday.
