Turf Champion Main Sequence (Aldebaran) will defend his crown in the GI United Nations S. at Monmouth Park July 7. The Flaxman homebred took home the GI Longines Breeders' Cup Turf in November, kicked off the new season with a win in Gulfstream's GII Mac Diarmida S. Feb. 21 and finished seventh in Meydan's G1 Dubai Sheema Classic Mar. 28. “We've been very conservative with him since coming back from Dubai,” said trainer Graham Motion. “He shipped well and handled it well. I could have breezed him three or four weeks ago, but we're taking our time and will try and plot the same path we did last year.”
