Majestic Warrior Out Of Juvenile

GI Hopeful S. winner Majestic Warrior (A.P. Indy) will be forced to miss the GI Breedersí Cup Juvenile after suffering an injury to his left front foot, the Daily Racing Form reports. ìHe has some hoof wall separation,î trainer Bill Mott told DRF. ìIt's underneath the hoof wall. I'm 95-percent confident this is what we were looking for, and he did enough the other day that we were able to discover it.î Mott added, ìIt's similar to a quarter crack, except it's in the toe instead of the heel. I'm sure this was very uncomfortable for him. We were able to cut it out and clean it up. We've already got a protective shoe on him.î Majestic Warrior was coming off a disappointing sixth-place finish in the Oct. 6 GI Champagne S. at Belmont Park. While he is out of Breedersí Cup contention, the colt could run again this year.
