A well-related filly by Manduro (Ger) from the Patinack Farm reduction realized a final bid of A$500,000 (US$481,845) to top the first session of the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale Tuesday on the Gold Coast. Catalogued as lot 1529, the Oct. 14 foal is a daughter of Endless (GB) (Sadler’s Wells), a half-sister to MGI/G1SW Powerscourt (GB) and to the dam of undefeated champion Frankel (GB) (Galileo {Ire}). Endless was part of the Patinack reduction as well and was sold at last week’s National Broodmare Sale to Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum for A$1.05 million. Magic Millions signed the winning ticket on lot 1529 on behalf of an undisclosed buyer.
