Golconda Stables' March X Press (Shanghai Bobby) looks to keep her perfect record in tact and stamp her ticket to the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf in Sunday's GI Natalma S. at Woodbine, a Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” event. A last-to-first winner of her Saratoga unveiling Aug. 2, the Todd Pletcher pupil followed suit with a victory in that venue's 5 1/2-panel Bolton Landing S. Aug. 16 and stretches to a mile for the first time here.
Gary Barber's Wonder Gadot (Medaglia d'Oro) headlines the Mark Casse trio. The dark bay donned cap and gown by four lengths in her seven-furlong turf debut here Aug. 26. She is joined by stablemates Pretty Lady (Scat Daddy), second in her career bow here Aug. 27, and Mo Big Cat (Uncle Mo), most recently runner-up in a local turf allowance Aug. 26.
Chad Brown can never be overlooked in a turf stakes and he sends out Dooder (Flatter), a first out winner against New York-breds going 1 1/16 miles at Saratoga Aug. 10. Trainer Christophe Clement ships in with another Saratoga debut winner in Golden Orb (Orb), who also graduated in 1 1/16-mile turf test at the Spa Aug. 6 and receives Lasix for the first time here.
