Maristar Brings 500K at Keeneland

Multiple graded stakes-placed Maristar (Giant's Causeway–Jewel Princess, by Key to the Mint) established a top price of $500,000 during the opening session of the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale Monday when she was hammered down to Lincoln Collins. Property of Gerard Butler Racing, Maristar, a 6-year-old daughter of U.S. champion older mare Jewel Princess, was a three-time winner in England. She was offered as a racing or broodmare prospect.
