Dream Rush (Wild Rush) tried to take them gate to wire in the $1 million Breeders' Cup F/M Sprint at Monmouth Park, but she faded in the stretch and it was Maryfield and jockey Elvis Trujillo who came flying on the far outside for the victory. Miraculous Miss (Mr. Greeley), who had slipped up the rail to take the lead in the stretch, was second, and Miss Macy Sue (Trippi) completed the exacta. It was the third Breeders' Cup race victory for trainer Doug O'Neill.
