Mayfair Speculators Scoops Dubawi Filly

South Africa's Mayfair Speculators, which were active at the Tattersalls October yearling sale, were back in action at the Foal Sale Friday, shelling out 720,000gns for lot 1162, a Dubawi (Ire) half-sister to three stakes winners. The transaction came shortly before John Ferguson had the winning bid on another Dubawi filly, lot 1172, the first foal out of dual Group 1 winner La Collina (Ire) (Strategic Prince {GB}), at 625,000gns.
