Weanlings from the Wood Nook Farm dispersal comprised the top three lots of the opening session of the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale Sunday, with the dearest being lot 111, a Medaglia dﾒOro colt out of the stakes-placed Starfish (Aus) (Redouteﾒs Choice {Aus}), herself a daughter of the G1 Australia S. winner Stella Cadente (Aus) (Centaine {Aus}). He was picked up by agent James Harron for A$500,000.
His price came on the heels of a Pierro (Aus) colt sold by Wood Nook for A$300,000, and a Fastnet Rock (Aus) filly sold by Wood Nook for A$280,000.
