Not breaking especially sharp, the gray was sent along the inside to move up to third heading into the turn and gradually made up ground on pacesetter Exclusive Package (Wildcat Heir) to draw on even terms under confident handling at the top of the stretch. The frontrunner fought gamely, but Bronson proved his superiority in the final sixteenth to score going away by 1 3/4 lengths.
