Adding to the sales success of top sire Medaglia d'Oro, a filly by Darley's latest stallion acquisition brought a final bid of $370,000 at Fasig-Tipton July yesterday. Out of a half to GSW Elaborate (Gilded Time), from the family of GSW Areyoutalkintome (Smokester), the dark bay was consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent for breeder Bert Welker. Twin Creek Racing signed the ticket on the yearling. Bert and Mickey Welker purchased the unraced dam Peridot (Gilded Time) for just $10,000 as a four-year-old at BESOCT in 2003.
