Hip 126, a full sister to recent Grade III winner Acoma (Empire Maker–Aurora, by Danzig), whose second dam is champion Althea, realized a final bid of $1.7 million as the opening session at Keeneland reached its midpoint. Consigned by Helen Alexander's Middlebrook Farm, the March foal is also a half-sister to GISW and prominent sire Arch (Kris S.), GSW Festival of Light (A.P. Indy) and SW Alisios (Kris S.). California-based owners Jon and Sarah Kelly, who campaign GISW Vacare, signed the winning ticket.
