Midshipman Named Champion 2yo Colt

After capping his career with a decisive score in the GI Breeders'Cup Juvenile, Midshipman (Unbridled's Song–Fleet Lady, by Avenue of Flags) was honored last night as the year's champion two-year-old colt. Owned by Darley and bred by Stonerside Stable, the colt was trained by Bob Baffert. Midshipman has been shipped to Dubai and is now under the care of Saeed bin Suroor. 2008 Record: 4-3-1-0.
