Bidding on behalf of the Coolmore conglomerate, Dr. Demi O'Byrne went to 650,000gns to secure a colt by Montjeu (Ire) at Tattersalls October Wednesday. From the Templeton Stud consignment, the bay is a half to eight winners, including MG1SW Vespone (Ire) (Llandaff), GSW La Sylphide (Swi) (Barathea {Ire}) and G1 Melbourne Cup runner-up Purple Moon (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).
