Tuesday's session of the Arqana August Sale got off to a quick start when Grant Pritchard-Gordon's Badgers Bloodstock went toﾆﾬ600,000 (US$865,658) for lot 125, a daughter of Montjeu (Ire). Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux, the bay is the first foal from listed winner Prudenzia (Ire) (Dansili {GB}). Pritchard-Gordon secured the filly for owner Paul Makin. Just a few minutes earlier, Prudenzia's full-sister lot 119 sold for ﾀ500,000 to the account of Course Investment Corp. Prudenzia and her younger sister were produced by Platonic (GB) (Zafonic); they hail from the family of dual Oaks heroine Alexandrova (Ire) (Sadler's Wells).
