The owners of stakes-winning 3-year-old filly Moqueen (Aus) (Uncle Mo) will offer a 26.25% share in the filly at the Chairman's Sale – Elite Racing Prospects session on Mar. 30 at Inglis. Moqueen runs in Saturday's G1 Vinery Stud S. at Rosehill and also holds an entry for the G1 Australian Oaks on day two of The Championships at Randwick on Apr. 8. Moqueen won the Listed Dulcify S. at Randwick in October.
“Her stakes win against the colts in the Dulcify over the Randwick mile in the spring spoke to her true ability,” said trainer and co-owner Anthony Cummings. “She runs [Saturday] in the Vinery en route to the Oaks, and we hope a break in the weather will see her return to her best form, which is top of the ground.”
Moqueen is out of the Group 3-placed Money Begets Money (Aus) (Bite The Bullet), herself a full-sister to Mica's Pride (Aus), the dam of four-time Group 1 winner Criterion (NZ) (Sebring {Aus}).
