Angled into open runway once past halfway, the 12-1 chance quickened smartly to seize control at the furlong marker and drew off under mild urging to score by 2 1/2 lengths from Mushahadaat (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}). The €160,000 ARAUG yearling is out of the dual stakes-placed Whipsaw City (Fr) (Elusive City), herself a half-sister to Listed Criterium de l'Ouest victress My Year is a Day (Fr) (King's Best) and is kin to a yearling filly by Blame. Her fourth dam is G2 Ribblesdale S. heroine and G1 Oaks d'Italia runner-up Armarama (GB) (Persian Bold {Ire}), whose descendants also include G1 Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris-winning sire Montmartre (Fr) (Montjeu {Ire}).
