Hip 1127, a Mr. Greeley colt, went to John Ferguson for $570,000 midway through Thursday's session of KEESEP. The bay colt is the first foal from Cherokee (Storm Cat), who captured the 2004 G3 Round Tower S. in her career debut for Mrs. John Magnier and Michael Tabor. Cherokee is also a full sister to the $1.5-million filly purchased by Team Valor last month at Fasig-Tipton's Saratoga Sale.
